The Precinct development is being led by Kalfresh, a proven Australian vegetable farming and marketing business, and closely aligns to the company’s mission to create a better farming future for community, consumers and the environment.

The Scenic Rim has been a powerhouse of agriculture for generations, thanks to the fertile alluvial soils, secure water and incredible weather. However, agriculture is seasonal and so are its jobs.

Bringing year-round manufacturing to the region and introducing 24/7 bioenergy production will deliver tangible socio-economic benefits of ongoing employment to our community.

We’re excited to welcome new greenfield, high-tech industries to the Precinct that will innovate and diversify the food and fibre products produced in the Scenic Rim, and the jobs this new activity creates.
