The Deputy Premier also officially opened and named Kalfresh’s new state-of-the-art Onion Shed after co-founder, Barry Hinrichsen, who passed away in 2025.
Kalfresh CEO Richard Gorman told the audience the shed represents many things Barry will be remembered for, including his love for growing onions, his can-do attitude, and his encouragement to back ourselves, think big and take the shot.
